Tonalist proved that he can win outside of Belmont with a win in today's Cigar Mile. The Christophe Clement trainee was ridden by John Velazquez. His stablemate Red Vine was second and Matrooh was third. My pick for the race Mshawish was fourth, but he looked like he was going to win in the final furlong before fading a little bit at the end.
