The Pimlico Special historically has been a huge race, since it's return in 2012 however the race has somewhat lacking. This year however a nice field of 8 have entered here they are:

Stanford and Page Mckeeney where 1-2 in the Charles Town Classic. Page will have the slight advantage in returning to a regular sized track as he was the runner up in this race last year. Savoy Stomp is coming off a 4th in the Skip Away and isn't as seasoned as his stablemate. Noble Bird is the G1 winner in the race with his win in the Stephen Foster last year, but has only mustered 1 on the board finish since. Idolo Porteno returns to the dirt after a disastrous start in the Elkhorn, but was 3rd in his US debut the Razorback. Golden Glint, Hesinfront and Warrioroftheroses will need career bests to stay with the top horses.
Prediction:
1st: Page Mckennney
2nd: Stanford
3rd: Idolo Porteno
