Sports Illustrated has released it's list of 12 finalists for the Sportsman of the Year Award. American Pharoah is one of the finalists which also include 2 time 100 meter gold medalist Usain Bolt, Carli Lloyd and the Kansas City Royals (the lone team shockingly on the list). A poll has been opened on SI's website where you can vote for who you want to see win the award on SI's website. As of right now it's neck and neck between Pharoah and the Royals.
The winner will be announced on December 14th.
