The Tapit colt Mohaymen who was my pick to finish 3rd won the Nashua. Flexibility (Bluegrass Cat) was second and Sail Ahoy (Bernardini) who was my pick to win the race finished up in third. The winner is out of the Dixie Union mare Justwhistledixie, who was second in the 2009 Acorn (and was the scratched 2nd choice from that year's KY Oaks). This makes him a 1/2 brother to BC Juvenile winner New Year's Day.
He is trained by Kieran McLaughlin, owned by Shadwell Stable and was ridden by Junior Alvarado.
